In Pieces of Her, Andrea Cooper has spent her entire life in the beachside town of Gullaway Island with her mother Laura. A routine trip to the mall explodes into violence and within a day, Laura is shot and hospitalized. Suddenly Andrea is confronted with the 30-year-old secret her mother has been hiding: she was once someone else. Now Laura’s history has caught up with her. Andrea must follow the clues to discover her mother’s past before there is no future for either of them.
